Since 2008 we have funded schools in the Philippines. We find that we cannot do enough by ourselves so we started this charity in 2015 and we are asking for your help.
ARE YOU CHANGING THE WORLD? In the Philippines the people make less than $2.00 per day. Many are single parents. They cannot feed their children let alone pay $25.00 a year for schooling. This is the reason that illiteracy is past down from one generation to the next. The cost of tuition is $15.00 per year and the school supplies are $10.00 per year. Your gift of $10.00, $15.00 or $25.00 will not change the world but it will change the world for one child.
In the Philippines your money will go further. We have always relied on a dedicated team of volunteer cast and crew members, and an equally dedicated corps of patrons; people like you who make it possible change a child’s life in the Philippines. Thank you, thank you, and thank you!
If you would make a contribution toward our goal of greater sustainability by becoming (or continuing as) a friend of The Hesser Foundation, we would very much appreciate your generosity. It’s easy to give, donate online just click on donate at:
The Hesser Foundation is a 501 (c) 3 not-for-profit charity. We go to the small cities that are untouched by the large charities. The best way to get people out of poverty is thru education. It is our wish to do just that in the Philippines.
Children who do not go to school are forced to work to help support their families. The work is hard and unsafe for the adults let alone the children. Will you change one child’s life?
Our offices are donated and we do not take a salary. We have always relied on a dedicated team of local volunteers this way the money is given directly to the schools for tuition and supplies.
Your donation will raise funds for needy school children in the Philippines too poor to afford tuition and school supplies. You will sponsor many a worthwhile child who without your assistance would not be able to continue in school.
We believe that world change begins with educating children. We are committing our attention on two key areas that will have the greatest impact: literacy and gender equality in education.
